Step into the enchanting Ramster Garden, Surrey's hidden gem, renowned for its rare trees and a kaleidoscope of blossoming shrubs. Our historic woodland garden, which spans 25 acres, is famous for its extensive collection of rhododendrons and azaleas that burst into a breathtaking spectacle of colour with the arrival of spring

MID APRIL UPDATE, GARDEN IS FULL OF COLOUR, BLUEBELLS ARE OUT, RHODODENDRONS AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE, AZALEAS IN BLOOM, EVERYTHING IS EARLY WITH THE MILD MARCH!

Wander along the winding paths, immersing yourself in the splendour and peaceful ambience during spring, summer, and autumn whilst enjoying views of lakes and hillsides filled with colour and interest. Discover sculptures and natural carvings, including the Red Dragon, a bench carved from a fallen Californian Redwood. Complete your visit with morning coffee, lunch, or afternoon tea at Ramster Tea House, which has indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Are you open during April?

We are open every day 10am - 5pm

Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved dogs (must be on a short lead) are welcome in the garden and Tea House

Can I visit the Tea House without a garden entry ticket?

Our Tea House is open to non-garden visitors 10am - 5pm, last orders are at 4.30.

Is there a car park?

We have a large car park which is free to visitors

Can I use my 2 for 1 entry ticket?

2 for 1 entry tickets are not valid on weekends, during special events including the Surrey Sculpture Exhibition 3rd May - 2nd June, or for group visits 15+

Do I need to book?

There is no need to prebook your visit, just come into the teahouse on arrival to buy your ticket.

 Are the bluebells out?

Yes! So much colour in the garden, looking amazing at the moment!

Opening Times

The Garden is now open to visitors daily

10am - 5pm. We recommend checking the website before your visit.  If very windy we may close the garden for safety reasons.

Season Ticket

Visitors can purchase a Season Ticket for unlimited access during our opening times. This is a unique chance to engage with the garden through each season.

Group Visits 

We welcome group visits to Ramster Garden. All group visits must be pre-booked with us to ensure you have the most enjoyable and personalised experience possible.

Open daily 10am-5pm

Ramster Tea House provide a relaxing setting for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. We serve hot and cold drinks, a selection of freshly made sandwiches, homemade soups and quiches and a wonderful selection of delicious cakes or cream teas.
